Virtual Work Week: Open to Alumni, Students, Faculty, Staff, and Friends!
Alumni and friends have been celebrating Berry's "Spirit of Service" for more than 35 years by returning to campus each spring for Alumni Work Week. While COVID-19 has forced the cancellation of this year's on-campus event, we're still planning to live out Martha Berry's call to service in our communities instead – and you have an opportunity to join us!
Berry students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends are encouraged to sign-up for one of the work crews today to support our local communities and show how we're "Always Berry!"
• Face Masks: Join Crew Chief Joy Johnson (73C) and others on this “Face Mask Crew” to make masks at home for communities in need. Sewing and non-sewing options available.
• Notes of Encouragement and Thanks: Join Crew Chiefs Jean Benoy Lacey (67C) and Peggy Howard (67C) as they lead efforts to send notes of encouragement and thanks to the Class of 2020 and alumni working in health care.
• Blood Drive: Join Crew Chief Larry Arrington (93C) and other alumni who are giving blood, blood plasma, and/or platelets during the pandemic.
• Food Drive: Join Crew Chief Laurie Chandler (95C) and other alumni to collect food for local food pantries, churches, or other outreach organizations near you.
