(Un)Common High School Leadership Conference Poster Session
About this Event
As part of Berry College’s (Un)Common High School Leadership Conference, local high school students will participate in a poster session showcasing the leadership lessons they’ve explored throughout the day. Each poster will highlight the insights, strategies, and personal growth students have experienced, offering a tangible reflection of what they’ve learned. This session provides an opportunity for students to share their ideas with current Berry students, peers and mentors, celebrate their learning, and leave with practical tools and inspiration they can bring back to their schools and communities.
For Berry students, participating in the poster session offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership, communication, and mentorship skills while engaging directly with high school students. By interacting with the students, Berry students can practice explaining ideas clearly, giving constructive feedback, and encouraging curiosity and confidence in their younger peers. At the same time, they can gain fresh perspectives, new ideas, and insights from the high schoolers’ creativity and approaches to leadership. This mutually beneficial interaction helps Berry students reflect on their own growth, see leadership in action, and build meaningful connections across student groups.
