An award-winning poet and essayist, Paisley Rekdal is Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Utah and Utah's Poet Laureate. Recent books include Nightingale, which re-writes myths from Ovid's The Metamorphoses, and Appropriate: A Provocation, which examines cultural appropriation.
