From School to Employment: Changing the Trajectory of Vocational Outcomes for Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder
Kayla Jenssen is a doctoral candidate at Western Michigan University in the Department of Applied Behavior Analysis. She will be sharing her research about supporting transition from high school to the community for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Individuals with Autism have the lowest employment rates of all individuals with disabilities in the United States. This presentation will
share research focusing on how to promote more positive outcomes for young adults with autism leading to successful employment and factors associated with high quality of life indicators.
