From Caribbean Tropics to European Arctic: Berry's Global One-Health Research on Disease Vectors
This is part of the weekly Biology Seminar Series, and is the Sixth Annual Henry Gund Endowed Chair Biology Lecture. The focus of Prof. Bruce Conn's work is the intersection of scientific exploration and science policy with the intellectual and cultural traditions encountered around the world, including socioeconomic and political variations across the globe. Dr. Conn's primary teaching commitment at Berry College is his Foundations course, "The Great Neglected Diseases" (BIO 107), which serves students from all disciplines in the college in a broadly interdisciplinary approach that incorporates civic responsibility and advocacy primary pillars.
