Exhibit Talk: Berry College Architecture: A Chronological and Stylistic Analysis
Dr. Virgina Gardner Troy, Professor of Art History, Berry College, will define styles and contextulize significant Berry structures within the greater architectural conversation in the United States in and around the time of their construction. Buildings designed by Harry Carlson of Coolidge and Carlson will be given special attention. Carlson served as the lead architect for the Ford Complex and is the likely instigator of Berry's connection with the Guastavino Fireproof Construction Company.
