This seminar will provide a 20 year update on Berry’s mountain longleaf pine restoration project that was started by students in 2001.  Focus will be on management approaches (particular prescribed burning), accomplishments to date, and value to the college and to the community at large.  The talk will conclude with a presentation and discussion on the future of the project and eventual transition to new leadership.
