Join us for America Singing, a concert celebrating the rich and diverse musical heritage of the United States. From the lush harmonies of Samuel Barber’s Reincarnations to the powerful Four Civil War Poems by Jeffrey Van, the program also features beloved American folksongs and African American spirituals. Reflecting the vastness of our nation’s cultural and geographic landscapes, this performance highlights voices that have shaped the American experience. The choirs will be joined by Sean Thrower, artist-in-residence and guitar professor at Berry College, for an evening of music that is both deeply rooted and profoundly moving.
