Professor Chuck Hemard will give a talk about the work he has on display in his solo exhibition, Ecologies and Elements in the American South, at the Moon Gallery. Hemard's work focuses on our relationships with each other and the natural world. This includes remnants of old growth longleaf pines and documenting the changes over several years to small, overlooked ecosystems. Chuck Hemard is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Art and Art History at Auburn University in Alabama, where he developed the concentration in photography.
