Dahlia Elsayed "Off in the Woods Often" Art Exhibit

Dahlia Elsayed's "Off in the Woods Often" Exhibit will be displayed in the Moon Gallery from February 6 through March 9.

The work of Dahlia Elsayed combines words and images in paintings, prints, artist’s books, installations and performances to create in her words, “short visual ctions.” Words play on and off imagery in the formation of mental and physical landscapes. According to Elsayed, she starts with writing and then enlists “symbols of hard data— ags, signs, borders, geologic forms, terrain plans—that are used to frame soft data— wordplay, metaphors, lists and idioms, allowing image and language to continuously modify each other.”
